The White House editorial
This styled shoot at the White House Gallery gave our team a chance to design without limits. The result was an elegant, romantic event. We wanted the design to complement the neoclassical architecture of the Gallery. For the mock ceremony, we embraced the symmetry of the property with two oversized floral arrangements in shades of pink and blush, set in white vases atop marble stands. We placed tables along the portico to serve as a cocktail hour, covered with blue patterned linens and topped with simple floral centerpieces. And finally, we designed an intimate reception on the lawn, overlooking the coastline. To follow the color scheme, we used dinner plates in varying shades of pink and laid a linen napkin and a single flower bud on each.
Our model wore a vintage ankle-length gown that fit perfectly with the historic atmosphere of the White House Gallery. We made sure to capture all of the unique spaces this venue offers, from the grand staircase to the engraved wooden bar and clawfoot tub in the bridal suite. We had so much fun exploring the Gallery and cannot wait to design a real wedding there soon!
