When designing your beach wedding in the Florida Keys you will need to start exploring your vision so you can come up with a clear color story and theme.  As you may already know, the Florida Keys is filled with natural beauty from the coconut palms and endless blue water views.  One of the most common things we hear from brides is “we want it to be simple”.  We love that, but its actually not technically simple to get that seamless, organic, romantic look.  Theres still allot that goes into designing a seamless feel, and we like to start by sending you a design questionnaire that will get you started on thinking about what you want your wedding to really encompass.  Here are some color stories we have done in the past that may help you work through what your story could be.

This Color Palette was for the bride who wanted a beach feel to her wedding, but also wanted a clean tone with a modern touch.  We used white linens with mint green napkins.  Clear ghost chairs and pops of silver on the tables and in the centerpieces.  We warmed it up by using light greens and white florals.  Her bridesmaids were wearing different shades of mint greens and blues which matched all the tones we used through out the wedding.  The water that day was a beautiful green color.  Of course I took credit for that! Lindsey the bride wanted a wow factor at her wedding.  We went with a beautifully dropped structure made of bamboo, market lighting, and draping and used heavy greens hanging over the head tables and throughout the wedding.  She wanted her wedding to feel lush, elegant yet comfortable...not stuffy.  We used long farm tables that had rich wood tones and a clean white linen runner as the base with lush greens that trailed down the center of the table.  We went tropical and used allot of beautiful single stemmed local green leaves.  Modern gold cutlery and glass and gold chargers were used to bring in that more elegant feel to the tables.  We also used allot of floating candles.  It was romantic, lush and very memorable. Jenn wanted to go vibrant, tropical and fun.  The choice of floral was peonies and our amazing florist Studio South were able to get a very large and beautiful section of coral charm peonies that we used all throughout her wedding.  We utilized a mix of pineapple and ghost wood centerpieces and colorful blooms that popped on every table.  Flamingos were placed all throughout her property and we painted some gold to make it fun and chic.  Pictures to come soon.
